OUR WARRANTY
Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warran
ty,
Sony Ericsson warrants this Product to be free from
defects in design, material and workmanship at th
e
time of its original purchase by a consumer, a
nd for
a subsequent period of one (1) year.
WHAT WE WILL DO
If, during the warranty period, this Product fails to
operate under normal use and service, due t
o defects
in design, materials or workmanship, Sony Ericsson
authorized distributors or service partners, in th
e
country/region* where you purchased the Product,
will, at their option, either repair or replace the Pr
oduct
in accordance with the terms and conditions stip
ulated
herein.
Sony Ericsson and its service partners reserve
the right to charge a handling fee if a returned Product
is found not to be under warranty according to the
conditions below.
Please note that your personal settings/downloa
ds
might be lost when the Product is repaired or
replaced.
CONDITIONS
1. The warranty is valid only if the original proof o
f
purchase issued to the original purchaser by an,
for this Product, Sony Ericsson authorized de
aler,
specifying the date of purchase and serial nu
mber**,
is presented with the Product to be repaired or
replaced. Sony Ericsson reserves the right t
o refuse
warranty service if this information has been remove
d
or changed after the original purchase of th
e Product
from the dealer.
2. If Sony Ericsson repairs or replaces the Product
, the
repaired or replaced Product shall be warrant
ed for
the remaining time of the original warranty
period or
for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, w
hichever
is longer. Repair or replacement may involve
the use
of functionally equivalent reconditioned units.
Replaced parts or components will become t
he
property of Sony Ericsson.
3. This warranty does not cover any failure of the Pro
duct
due to normal wear and tear, or due to misuse, incl
uding
but not limited to use in other than the normal and
customary manner, in accordance with the Son
y
Ericsson instructions for use and maintenan
ce of the
Product. Nor does this warranty cover any failure o
f
the Product due to accident, software or hardware
modification or adjustment, acts of God or damage
resulting from liquid.
4. Since the cellular system on which the Prod
uct is to
operate is provided by a carrier independent from
Sony Ericsson, Sony Ericsson will not be r
esponsible
for the operation, availability, coverage, services or
range of that system.
