Use this service aid to display and change the following settings for the Ring Indicate
Power On Policy.
Note: Because of system capability, some of the following settings may not be
displayed by this service aid.
Power On Via Ring Indicate (on/off)
Number of Rings Before Power On
This service aid may be accessed directly from the AIX command line, by entering:
/usr/lpp/diagnostics/bin/uspchrp -r
Configure Ring Indicate Power On
Note: Runs on RSPC systems units only.
This service aid allows the user to display and change the NVRAM settings for the
Ring Indicate Power On capability of the service processor.
The settings allows the user to:
Enable/Disable power on from Ring Indicate
Read/Set the number of rings before power on
Configure Service Processor
