User Account
23.1 Overview
This chapter describes the User Account screen.
There are three types of user accounts on the Switch. Admin, User and Guest.
•The Admin account is used for administrating the Switch using the web
configurator.
•The User and Guest accounts are used for IEEE 802.1x Authentication (Chapter
19 on page 117) and Web Authentication (Chapter 20 on page 123).
23.2 User Account Screen
Use this screen to configure the admin, user and guest accounts on the Switch. To
access the screen, click Management > User Account.
To create a new account, type a username, password and set a user authority for
the account and then click Apply. To modify an existing account, click the index
number for that account and click Apply after modifying any details.
