Instant Messaging
A built-in instant messaging module is offered on your
phone, through which you will be able to chat with
your friends in real time using your favorite instant
messaging provider, such as AIM
®
, Yahoo!
®
Messenger,
or Windows Live™ Messenger.
1. From idle mode, select Menu > Messaging > IM.
2. Upon the first use, select the name of your instant
messaging provider, and then select OK. The
remaining steps will vary slightly for each provider.
3. Select the Screen Name field and then enter your
screen name/email/ID.
4. Select the Password field and enter your
password.
5. Use the 4-Way Navigation Key to move down
and press the OK Key for Sign In.
6. Select the name of a contact who is currently online.
7. Enter your message, and then select Send IM.
