NUMERIC MODE [NUM]
Numeric mode allows you to add a number to your
entry/message. To select numeric mode from the Editor
screen, press [Abc], then select [NUM].

SYMBOL MODE [SYM]
Symbol mode allows you to add various symbols to
your entry. Whether you are adding an e-mail address
to your phone book or sending an expressive message,
symbols make these entries easier.
To select symbol mode from the Editor screen, press
[MODE] then select [Symbols].
The symbols will appear on the display.
Select symbol you want to enter with the navigation
key.

SPEED DIAL
Dials a number simply by pressing and holding its
Speed Dial location number. For a 2-digit location
number, press the first number then press and hold
the second number. To store a number in Speed Dial:
1. Press [MENU] .
2. To assign a phone number to a location, select
the location and press [SET].
3. The phone book list is displayed alphabetically.
Press the Navigation Key up or down to select the
name you want to set. The contact's phone number
is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If more
than one number exists for that entry, press the
Navigation Key left or right to choose the number for
this speed dial location. Press [OK].
4. “Speed dial # XX Edited!” will be displayed.
If a phone number is already assigned to the location,
press [ERASE] then [OK] to delete.
A phone number that is set as secret will ask for a
password in order to assign it to a speed dial location.
If a phone number is set as secret, you must enter the
password to call the number.
If no phone number is stored in the location entered,
“There is no number” will appear on the screen.
“1” key is used for One-Touch voice mail feature.
Voice mail is cannot be change or edit. Please refer
to page 125 for more details on “Voice CB#”.
