8. Messages
The message services can only be used if they are
supported by your network or your service provider.
To select the font size for reading and writing messages,
select Menu >Messages> Message settings >Other
settings> Font size.
Note: When sending messages, your device may display Message sent. This
is an indication that the message has been sent by your device to the
message centre number programmed into your device. This is not an
indication that the message has been received at the intended destination.
For more details about messaging services, check with your service
provider.
Text messages [SMS] [network service]
Using the SMS [short message service], your device can send and receive multipart
messages, which consist of several ordinary text messages. Invoicing may be
based on the number of ordinary messages that are required for a multipart
message.
Before you can send a message, you need to save some message settings. See
”Settings for text and e-mail messages” on page 59.
You can also send and receive text messages that contain pictures. A picture
message can be a multipart message.
