To use the Menu button
When you press the menu button in the Find application main view, the
following options appear:
Save search criteria allows you to save your search criteria for later use in
the Find application. Find application creates a Search criteria folder in the
Own texts folder. This means that the search criteria can be opened from other
applications such as Fax, SMS, Mail and Notes.
Load search criteria allows you to open the Search criteria view where you
can see the search criteria which have been saved earlier.
Load search result allows you to open previously stored search results. This
option is also available when you press the Menu button in the Documents
found view.
About shows you general information about the Find application.
To save the search criteria
You can save the search criteria you have used for further use in the Find
application.
1 Press the Menu button in the Find application main view.
2 Select Save search criteria. The Enter document name view opens.
3 Give the criteria a name.
To load previously saved search criteria
1 Press the Menu button in the Find application main view.
2 Scroll to Load search criteria and press Select.
3 Select the search criteria you want to use and press Open.
In the search criteria view you can also manage your search criteria. Press
Rename to give your search criteria a new name. Press Delete to remove the
criteria. Close takes you back to the main view.
4 Press Search to start a new search based on these criteria.
Tip: When you save your search criteria or your
search results, the Find application creates
Search criteria and Search results folders in the
Own texts folder. You can open these when you
are in other applications and the Find
application will launch automatically.
