Messaging
• Save: Save messages in the phone memory.
• Input Mode: Change the mode used to input data into
your message, such as text, numbers, and symbols.
• My words: Manage the words that you have added to the
dictionary. You can edit and delete the words (For more
information about My Word, see My Words on page 35).
• Language: Select English, Spanish or French.
❸ After you have created the message, press the [
o
]
key to send the message. If you want to send a Text
Message to a new number that is not stored, press
the [Up] scroll key to move to Add Contact and then
just enter the number (Add Contact is only for entering
numbers that are not searched).
If you want to search for a stored name, enter the name
using the keypad.
You can also add numbers from Call Log. To find the Call
Log menu, press the [Options] Soft key.
When you have finished entering the recipient
information, press the [Send] Soft key.
• Call Log: Show the recent calls
• Edit: Edit the selected address.
• Delete: Delete the selected address.
After selecting the correct number, press the [Mark] Soft key
to check it.
When you have finished entering the recipient information,
press the [
o
] key.
Multimedia Message
❶ When [Write New] page displays, press the [Options]
Soft key to use the following [Editor Options].
• Add Object: Add an image, sound, other files and slide
objects.
• Preview: Show the message as it appears on the
recipient’s phone, and you can return to the Editor by
press the [Back] soft key.
• Add Template: Add a text or multimedia message
template. This feature is only available when no item is in
the slide. With more than one slide, Add Template is not
available.
• Add Subject: Add the message subject.
• Input Mode: Change the mode used to input data into
your message, such as text, numbers, and symbols.
• My words: Manage the words that you have added to the
dictionary You can edit and delete the words (For more
information about My Word, see My Words on page 35).
NOTE
When you select an address that is not stored in Contact
List, the Edit and Delete menu appear.
