During a call or in
direct dialling, the
numeric keys always
transmit DTMF tones
(Dual Tone Multi
Frequency) also known
as “touchtones”.
These tones are used
to operate services that
you can reach with
your phone, like a
pager or an answering
machine.
You can also link
numbers and codes
together and record
and dial them from your
names list.
