Own Number
Note: The contents of this menu may be different
depending on the SIM card.
You can enter your own name and number using this
menu. If you have subscribed to the Alternative Line
Service, you can select a line with or .
The following options are available:
Erase: allows you to erase name and number.
Edit: allows you to edit name and number. If your
SIM card supports ALS only the Edit soft key
displays. Press the Edit soft key and you can
setup or edit your own name for the ALS line.
Language
You can set a different setting for the text language
and voice language.
You can also set the default text input mode. For
details on the text input mode, refer to page 42.
Settings
Many different features of your phone can be
customised to suit your preferences. All of these
features are accessed via the Settings menu.

Greeting Message
Allows you to set a greeting message to be displayed
briefly when the phone is switched on. The current
message is displayed.

Clear the existing message key and hold it
down until the message
is cleared.
