Backlights
Backlights illuminate the display and the keypad. When you press any
key or open the phone, the backlights turn on. The backlight turns off
if there is no key press activity within a defined period of time (set in
the Backlight menu).
Note:
During a phone call, the display backlight dims and turns off after 10
seconds to conserve battery power, regardless of the Backlight setting.

Menu Navigation
Like the Home screen, the Main Menu
has two panels.
To access your phone’s menus, tap the
Menu soft key, other soft keys, or icons
on the Widget Tray or
Shortcuts
screen.
1. In Standby mode, tap the Menu
soft key. Main Menu panel one
displays on the screen.
2. Swipe horizontally across the
screen to view the other Main Menu panels.
3. Tap the appropriate icon to to access a menu, sub-menu, or
application named in the display.
