To create a new access point connection
for a WLAN:
1. In Standby mode, press [ ]

Access
points

2. Edit the following settings:
•
Connection name
: set a name for
the access point connection
•
Data bearer
: select
Wireless LAN
•
WLAN network name
: set a name
for a WLAN network
•
WLAN network status
: set to
Hidden
if the WLAN network you are
connecting to is hidden or
Public
if it
is not hidden
•
WLAN network mode
: choose a
WLAN mode
•
WLAN security mode
: choose a
security level of a WLAN network
•
WLAN security settings
: change
the security settings
•
Homepage
: set a homepage for
access points that connect to web
services
3. When you are finished, press <
Back
>.
To connect to a WLAN:
1. In Standby mode, press [ ]
→
Web
.
2. Access a web page:
• Scroll to a bookmark or folder and
press the trackball
• Enter a web address and press the
trackball
