ⅷ Call Alert: Enter a seven-digit or ten-digit number
(area code and phone number) and press

message to the person you are calling that you want
to communicate using Direct Connect. (See “Using

Contact Details to display
information about the phone number if it is saved in
the Contacts list.
ⅷ Save: Enter a seven-digit or ten-digit number (area
code and phone number) and press

Save to save the phone number in

ⅷ Find: Enter a digit or string of digits and press Options
(right softkey). Select Find to display Contacts entries
that contain the entered numbers. (See “Finding a
Phone Number” on page 32.)
ⅷ Hard Pause: Enter one or more digits and press
Options (right softkey). Select Hard Pause to insert a
hard pause and enter additional numbers and
pauses as needed. (See “Dialing and Saving Phone
Numbers With Pauses” on page 32.)
