Setting the Side Key Guard
This feature enables you to lock external keys while the phone
is closed.
1. Press > Settings> More...>Side Key Guard.
2. SelectOnor Offand press .
Setting Abbreviated Dialing
To activate the Contacts Match feature:
1. Press >Settings > More... > Call Setup.
2. SelectContacts Match > On.
Toactivate the Prepend feature:
1. Press >Settings > More... > Call Setup > Abbrev. Dial.
2. SelectPrepend > On.
3. Enter the first five- or six-digit prefix in the Prepend#
field and then press
OK(leftsoftkey).

Note
This setting does not apply to 911 or Sprint 411.

TomakeanAbbreviated Dial call, see “Using Abbreviated

holding the side call key while the phone is closed.
