88 Section 2G: Using Contacts
Assigning Speed Dialing Numbers
Your phone can store up to 8 phone numbers in speed
dialing locations. For details on how to make calls using
speed dialing numbers, see “Using Speed Dialing” on
page 33.
Speed dialing numbers can be assigned when you add a
new contact entry, when you add a new phone number to
an existing entry, or when you edit an existing number
(See “Adding a New Contact” on page 84 or “Adding a
Phone Number to a Contact” on page 84).
To assign a speed dialing number to a new phone number:
1. Add a phone number to a new or to an existing
Contacts entry.
2. Highlight the entry and press Options >
Speed dial > Select.
3. Select an available speed dialing location and press
Assign
.
(A confirmation displays.)
4. Press
to return to standby mode.
To assign a speed dialing number to an existing phone
number:
1. Highlight a contact and select Details to display the
entries for that contact.
2. Highlight the entry for which you wish to assign a
speed dialing number, and press Options.
3. Use the navigation key to scroll down and highlight
Speed dial and press Select.
4. Select an available speed dialing location and press
Assign
.
(A confirmation displays.)
5. Press
to return to standby mode.
