Make sure that the machine is in standby mode.

Check that the Memory indicator is lit.
If it is not lit, press
MEMORY
Check that the Memory indicator is not
Lit.
If it is lit, press

Carefully place the document in the feeder.

Select the contrast and resolusion (and halftone if neccessary)

You may select one or more of the
following options. To select an option,
press the right arrow on the scroll key,
then press one of the following
combinations of keys.

The machine stores your meesage in
memory, then sends it to each terminal in
sequence.
The machine dials, then your message is
fed, scanned, and sent to the other
terminal.
