Call waiting > Activate, to request that you be informed by the network of
an incoming call during an active call (network service).
Show cost/length of time > On, to briefly show the approximate length of
time and cost of the call after calling (network service).
Send own number (network service) > Yes, No or depending on network
Line for outgoing calls (network service), to use Line 1 or Line 2 for cal-
ling, provided it is supported by your SIM card.
7.7.8 Telephone
Select
Menu > Settings > Telephone and one of the following options:
Language settings to specify the language for the display and the write
functions.
Memory status, to show the memory load from the gallery, messages and
programs.
Automatic keypad lock, to set the keys of your telephone so that they will
be locked after a specified period of time, if the telephone is in the initial
display and none of the telephone functions have been used. Select
On,
and set a time period between 5 seconds and 60 minutes.
Security keypad lock, to set the telephone so that you will be asked to
enter a security code when canceling the keypad lock. Enter the code,
and select
On. If the keypad lock is activated, emergency calls can
possibly still be made to the official emergency number programmed into
your unit.
Network information > On, to receive information from the network provi-
der depending on the current wireless cell (network service).
Greeting, to enter the greeting text, which is briefly displayed when the
telephone is turned on.
Operator selection > automatic, to set the telephone so that it automati-
cally selects one of the networks available in your area.
Using Manual,
you can select a network which has a Roaming agreement with your
national network provider.
