You can also save a phone number through the Contacts directory as
follows:
1. Select
Menu → Contacts → Add New → Phone Number.
2. Enter the phone number up to as many digits as will fit on the screen.
3. Press twice to select
Next. Enter the name.
4. Go to Step 3 in “To save a phone number” on page 19.
To enter pauses in a phone number
When you save the phone number of an automated service, such as
voicemail, you may include a pause where you would be required to select
an option or enter a password. For example, you could enter a phone
number, then a pause, then a voicemail extension or calling card number.
A
timed pause causes the phone to stop dialing for two seconds. A hard
pause
causes the phone to stop dialing until you select Release.
Note: You can enter multiple pauses in a phone number.
