calls, including emergency calls or use
other features that require network
coverage.

Security
Various codes and passwords are used to
protect the features and settings of your
phone. They are described in the following
sections.

Phone lock: You can use a security code
to avoid unauthorized use of the phone.
If you set phone lock to When Power On,
the phone will request a security code
whenever you switch the phone on. If you
set the phone lock to When SIM Changed,
your phone will request a security code
only when you change your SIM Card. If
you set the phone lock to Lock Phone Now,
your phone will lock immediately.

Change Codes: The Change codes
feature allows you to change your current
password to a new one. You must enter the
current password before you can specify a
new one. You can change the access codes
for: Security Code, PIN1, PIN2
]
PIN Code Request: When the PIN code
request feature is set to , you must
enter your PIN each time you switch the
phone on. Consequently, any person who
does not have your PIN cannot use your
phone without your approval.

Before setting the PIN code request feature to
Off, you must enter your PIN.
The following options are available:

: You must enter the PIN each time
the phone is switched on.

: The phone connects directly to the
network when you switch it on.

Fixed Dial Number: This allows you to
restrict your outgoing calls to selected
phone numbers, if this function is
supported by your SIM Card. The PIN2
code is required.
