New Message Alert
There are two ways your phone alerts you to new
messages.
1. The phone displays a message on the screen.
2. The message icon ( ) is displayed on the
display screen. In the case of a high priority
message, the icon will flash and NEW TEXT
MESSAGE is displayed.
NOTE If you receive the same message twice, your
phone deletes the older one and the new one is
stored as a DUPLICATE.
1. New Msg
Allows you to send text messages and pages. Each
message has a destination (Address) and
information (Message). These are dependent upon
the type of message you want to send.
1.1 TXT Msg
The Basics of Sending a Message
1. Press Left Soft Key , press , .
2. Enter the phone number of the recipient or the
email address for an email message. You can
enter up to 10 addresses for a single message.
3. Press .
NOTE To send a page, press [SEND].
4. Type your message (text or email).
5. Press [SEND].
A sending screen is displayed.
