Normal recording
When you want to perform what we call a normal recording.
• Start a recording by pressing the button with the red .
It will be possible, thus, to select the following recording
possibilities from a menu that appears on the screen:
1. Start: start the recording of the channel you are watching right
now by pressing OK.
2. Fixed: select one of the time alternatives. The recording will
automatically stop after the selected time.
3. Event now: record the ongoing program. The recording will
automatically stop at the end of that program.
Event next: the next program will be recorded automatically.
4 Go to timer: will show the Timer settings menu.
• An ongoing recording event will be indicated with "rec" in the
upper right corner of the screen.
• This type of recording is automatically stored in the
"Permanent" Bookmark in the "Recordings" folder. The name of
the recording will be an abbreviation of the original channel
name.
• You stop the recording by pressing the button.
About Timer recording
This can be used to program the box to record when you are not at
home.
For more information on settnig up the timer, see page 26.
In case you are at home watching TV when a timer recording starts:
Shortly before the recording starts, a message on the screen will
ask whether you want the recording to start or not. (You will be
asked just in case you are watching a more interesting program
than the one that is to be recorded.)
When you do nothing, the recording will start in a moment.
You may stop an ongoing Timer recording by pressing the
button.
