Voice key
You can start a voice recording or make a call using voice dialling with the voice
key on the side of the phone.
To start voice recording, press . To activate voice dialling, press and hold
. See also Voice dialling on page 85 and Voice commands on page 125.
Java applications
Your phone supports Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME
TM
), which is a version of Java
technology specifically designed for small consumer electronics products. The
phone includes some Java applications and games.
You can install new applications and games from a PC with the Java installer
software or download them from browser services. See Applications (Menu 10) on
page 120.
USB port for fast local connections
The phone’s Pop-Port
TM
connector includes a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port that
allows fast data transfer between the phone and a PC via the DKU-2 cable. The PC
needs to be provided with a compatible USB port. The DKU-2 cable is supplied
separately.
For the USB connection, one of the following operating systems needs to be
installed on your PC: Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
