Removing the battery
If you need to remove the battery:
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Push the battery catch towards the
bottom of the phone (1).
3. Lift the battery off the phone (2).
4. Install a new battery and replace the
cover in the same way as when you
install a SIM card.
■ Charging the battery
• Do not charge the battery when the back cover of the phone is removed. See
also Battery information on page 150.
1. Connect the lead from the charger to the
bottom of your phone.
2. Connect the charger to an AC wall socket.
If the phone is switched on, the text
Charging is displayed briefly and the
charging indicator bar starts scrolling. If
the battery is completely flat, it may take
a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display.
• Charging the battery supplied with the phone takes about two hours when
using the ACP-12 charger.
