The number of names that can be saved depends on their length, and the number
and length of related phone numbers and text items. The phone supports SIM
cards that can save up to 250 names and phone numbers.
Contacts saved in the phone’s memory use shared memory, see page 21.
Alternative ways to access the functions in this menu
You can access the functions also by pressing Names in standby mode (or by
pressing Go to and selecting Contacts). See also Three selection keys on page 23.
Some of the functions can also be accessed as follows: Press or in
standby mode, scroll to the name you want, press Details, scroll to a number or
text item, press Options and select the desired function.
To access the contacts during a call, press Options and select Contacts.
Selecting the phone book settings
Press Menu in standby mode and select Contacts and Settings. Select
Memory in use to select the contact memory you want to use. If you want to
search for names and phone numbers in both memories, select Phone and SIM.
In this case, the names and numbers will be saved in the phone’s memory.
Contacts view to select how the names, numbers and images are displayed in
the phone book. For example, select Name and image to view the names with
the attached images.
Memory status to view how much free memory is available in each contact
memory.
