15. Connectivity
Data transfer
With data transfer you can copy or synchronize contacts, calendar entries, and
possibly other data, such as video clips and images, from a compatible phone
using a Bluetooth connection.
Depending on the other phone, synchronization may not be possible and data can
be copied only once.
To transfer or synchronize data, do the following:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Transfer. If you have not used
Transfer before, information about the application is displayed. Select
Continue to start transferring data.
If you have used Transfer, select Transfer data.
2. When using Bluetooth, the phones need to be paired in order to transfer data.
Depending on the type of the other phone, an application may be sent and
installed on the other phone to enable the data transfer.
3. Select what content you want to be transferred to your phone.
PC Suite
With PC Suite you can synchronize contacts, calendar and to-do notes, and notes
between your phone and a compatible PC. You can also back up and copy data, for
example, images, from your phone to a PC.

Bluetooth connection
Bluetooth technology enables wireless connections between electronic devices
within a maximum range of 10 meters (33 feet). A Bluetooth connection can be
used to send images, videos, text, business cards, calendar notes, or to connect
wirelessly to compatible devices using Bluetooth technology, such as computers.
This device is compliant with Bluetooth Specification 2.0 supporting the following profiles:
Dial Up Networking, Serial Port, File Transfer, Object Push, Handsfree, Headset, SIM Access,
Generic Access, and Advanced Audio Distribution. To ensure interoperability between other
devices supporting Bluetooth technology, use Nokia approved enhancements for this model.
