Radio unit TFE-4R (Pos.1)
It is recommended to mount the radio unit TFE-4R at a less
visible position in the car interior. However, ensure that the unit
is installed to permit easy access to the SIM card so that it can
be changed if necessary and make sure that the cables for the
microphone and loudspeaker will reach the places you intend to
mount these components.
Note
When installing the radio unit, make sure to mount the
bracket in such a way that the unit slides into place
towards the front of the car or is mounted sideways.
Otherwise the unit may break loose if you have an
accident and cause injury or damage.

Display XDW-1R (Pos.2)
The mount for the display unit is to be fixed to the dashboard or
to any other location in the cockpit area where the display is
clearly visible for the user but does not impair control or
operation of the vehicle.
If you have any questions about installing your car phone,
please ask your service technician, who will be glad to provide
you with information on the most suitable mount for the
display unit in your vehicle. Some mounting systems do not
require boreholes.
Remember that all equipment must be mounted so that it does
not interfere with the operation of the vehicle.
Handset HSU-4 (Pos.3)
The handset comes with a mount that is to be fixed in a suitable
location where it is easily accessible for the user. However, take
particular care to ensure that the handset will not interfere
with the driver’s operation of the vehicle. Make sure that the
cable will reach to the radio unit for connection. The best
location to mount the handset is horizontally on the console
between the driver’s and front passenger’s seats.
Loudspeaker SP-2 (Pos.4)
To ensure good acoustic quality, mount the loudspeaker so that
it is pointed in the user’s direction. It is recommended that you
mount the loudspeaker a minimum distance of one metre away
from the microphone to avoid feedback.
