■ Locking the keypad
The keypad lock prevents keys from being accidentally pressed when, for example, the phone is in your
pocket or handbag.
To turn the lock on:
In standby mode, press (Menu) and then quickly.
To turn the lock off:
Press (Unlock) and then quickly.
When the keypad is locked:
• The indicator is shown
• You can answer, end or reject a call in the normal way.
During a call, you can operate the phone as usual.
• The headset HDC-5 can be used as usual.
Note: When the keypad is locked, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed
into your phone (112). The number is displayed only when all the digits have been keyed in.
■ Selecting a ringing tone (Menu 5-1)
1. In standby mode, press (Menu).
2. Scroll with or to Tones and press (Select).
3. Scroll to Ringing tone and press (Select).
