If you make a mistake, press to remove the digit to the left.
Tip: If you want to use the phone number when abroad, press twice quickly for the + character
and key in the country code, area code (remove the leading 0 if necessary) and phone number.
6. After you have written the phone number, press (OK).
The name and phone number are stored in the Phone book.
7. If you want to add a voice tag to the name and phone number, see Voice dialling (Menu 1-10) on
page 48.
Quick save: In standby mode, key in the phone number. Press or to change the text
above to Save. Press (Save). Key in the name and press (OK).
Writing text
The phone provides you with two ways to write text messages and reminder notes: predictive text
input and traditional text input.
To exit from text input to standby mode at any time, press and hold twice. Alternatively: Press
(Options), scroll to Exit, and press (OK).
Using predictive text input
Predictive text input is an easy way to write for example text messages and reminder notes. In this
input method, you only need to press a key once for each letter.
According to your keypresses, the phone tries to find the correct word from the currently selected
dictionary. (For selecting a dictionary, see page 36.)
