Handle a call while browsing
Note:
If you receive a call while browsing, you must end the WAP
connection to answer the call.
When the phone receives a call, the message
waiting
and the incoming
caller’s phone number appears.
For example:
waiting 8885551232
.
You have about 20 seconds to answer the call. If you do not answer, the
call may be forwarded to voice mail or the caller may be asked to try again
later.
ANSWER THE CALL:

Press and hold
to end the WAP connection.
Calling
flashes in the display, and the incoming caller’s phone number
appears again.

Press
Answer
to answer the call.
Note:
To answer the call and keep the last WAP page in view, press
Options
, scroll to
End active call
, and press
Select
.
Call ended
appears, followed by the last WAP page you were viewing when
you received the call.
IGNORE THE CALL:
Take no action and continue browsing.
Note:
You can set up call forwarding to send the call to your voice
mailbox. See “Call forwarding++” on page 48.
When you end your WAP connection,
Missed call
appears. Press
List
to
see details about the missed call. See “Check for missed calls” on page 36
for more information.
