and hold a number key in standby mode.
Locking the keypad
The keypad lock prevents the keys from being accidentally pressed when, for example, the phone is in
your bag.
To turn the lock on:
In standby mode, press (Menu) and then the Space key quickly.
To turn the lock off:
Press (Unlock) and then the Space key quickly.
When the keypad is locked:
The indicator is shown.
You can answer, end, or reject a call in the normal way.
During a call, you can operate the phone as usual.
The HDD-2 headset can be used as usual.
You can listen to the radio or the music player.
Note: When the keypad is locked, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed into your
phone (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Type in the emergency number and press
(Call). The number is displayed only after you have keyed in its last digit.
