Phone book (Menu 1)
In this menu, you can manage the names and phone numbers in the phone and the
SIM card.
To access this menu: In standby mode, press (Menu) and then (Select).
To access this menu during a call, press to change the text above to Options, press
(Options), and select Phone book.
Search: You can recall the desired name and phone number from the phone book to make a call, for
example (see Making a call using the phone book on page 26).
When you browse through the names and phone numbers, is shown in the top right corner of
the display if the selected name or phone number is saved in the SIM card.
Service Nos.: Calls the service number of your service provider, which is saved in your SIM card.
Add name: You can save a name and phone number in the phone book (see also Storing a phone
number with a name on page 32).
Erase: You can delete names and phone numbers from the selected phone book one by one or all at
once.
Edit: You can modify the names and phone numbers saved in the phone book. Scroll to the desired
name or phone number, and press (Edit). Edit the name and press (OK). Edit the phone
number and press (OK).
Copy: You can copy or move names and phone numbers from the phone to the SIM card (or vice
versa) one by one or all at once.
Assign tone: You can set the phone to play the desired ringing tone when you receive a call from a
particular phone number. Scroll to the callers name or phone number, press (Assign), and
select the desired ringing tone.
