Switching the phone on and off
Warning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause
interference or danger.
Press and hold the power key as shown.
Note that if the phone displays Insert SIM card even though the SIM card is properly
inserted, or SIM card not supported, contact your network operator or service
provider. Your phone does not support 5-Volt SIM cards and the card may need to be
changed.
If the phone asks for a PIN code, key in the PIN code (for example, displayed as
****), and press OK.

If the phone asks for a security code, key in the security code (for example, displayed as *****), and
press OK.

Normal operating position
Use the phone only in its normal operating position.
Your phone has a built-in antenna. As with any other radio transmitting device, do
not touch the antenna unnecessarily when the phone is switched on. Contact with
the antenna affects call quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher
power level than otherwise needed.
Not touching the antenna area during a phone call optimises the antenna
performance and the talktime of your phone.
