Menu functions
You can use the other functions of the phone, while you have an active instant messages session in the
background. Depending on the network, the active instant messages session may consume the phone’s
battery faster and you may need to connect the phone to a charger.
Instant messages uses shared memory, see Shared memory on page 19.
Basic steps for instant messaging
To enter the instant messages menu (offline), see Entering the instant messages menu on page 73.
