Customizing your phone
Selecting time format

Press Menu 4 2 1 (Settings - Phone settings - Clock).

Scroll to Time format and press Select.

Scroll to either 24-hour or am/pm.

Press OK.
•Welcome note
You can put a welcome note into your phone. The
welcome note displays a message each time you turn
your phone on (for example, hello, your name, a
reminder, etc.). The maximum length is 36 characters.

Press Menu 1 3 (Messages - Welcome note).

Enter new message or edit an existing one.
Characters you enter are added to the left of the cursor. Press Clear to
delete characters to the left of the cursor. Press or to move the
cursor right or left.

Press Options.

Press to Save or Erase.

Press OK.
• 1-touch dialing
You must store names and numbers in your phone book (see page 26)
before you can use this feature. Then you can assign a name from the
phone book to a one-touch dial location using your phone’s keys 2
through 8.
