Phone book functions
Saving names and phone numbers: In standby mode, key in the phone number. Press Options, and
select Save. Key in the name and press OK.
The internal phone book can save several hundred names with numbers and textual notes. The
total amount of names that can be saved depends on the length of the names, numbers and text
items.
The phone supports SIM cards that can save up to 250 names and phone numbers. Names and
numbers saved in the SIM cards memory are indicated by .
Searching for a name: Press and key in the first character(s) of the name you are searching for.
Scroll to the name you want, and press Details. Scroll to view the details of the selected name.
Editing a name, number or a text item: Search for the name (and number) you want to edit and
press Details. Scroll to the name, number or text item you want to edit, and press Options. Select
Edit name, Edit number, or Edit info, and edit the name, number, or text and press OK.
Erasing names and numbers: Press Names and select Erase. Choose One by one to delete the names
and numbers one by one, or Erase all to delete all the names and numbers from the phone book. If
you choose Erase all, you must confirm the erasure with the security code.
Selecting the phone book settings: Press Names and select Settings.
Select Memory in use to select which phone book will be used: Phone and SIM, Phone or SIM
card. Note that in Phone and SIM, the names and numbers will be saved in the phones memory.
Select Phone book view to choose how the phone book information will be shown.
Select Memory status if you want to see how many names can still be saved in the selected
phone book.
