EuropeanService Guaranteeonlyapplieswhile travelingincountriesother thanwherethe
productwas purchased.Yourlocalguarantee isapplicableinall othercases.Ifyour
PanasonicGSM telephonerequiresservicewhile abroad,pleasecontactthe localservice
companyshown onthisdocument.
The Guarantee
Theapplicable periodoftheEuropean wideguaranteeforGSM isgenerally12months for
themain bodyand3months fortherechargeablebattery. Withrespect toaproductused in
acountry otherthanacountry ofpurchase,notwithstandingwhat isstatedinthe conditions
below,the customerwillbenefit,in thatcountryofuse, fromtheseguaranteeperiods of,
respectively,12 and3months,if theseconditionsaremore favorabletohimthan thelocal
guaranteeconditions applicableinsuchcountry ofuse.
Conditions of Guarantee
Whenrequesting guaranteeservicethepurchaser shouldpresentthewarranty card
togetherwith proofofpurchase,to anauthorizedservicecentre.
Theguarantee coversbreakdownsdueto manufacturingordesignfaults; itdoesnotapply
toother eventssuchasaccidental damage,howevercaused,wear andtear,negligence,
adjustment,modification orrepairnotauthorized byus.
Yoursole andexclusiveremedyunder thisguaranteeagainstus istherepair,or atour
optionthe replacement,oftheproduct, oranydefectivepart orparts.Noother remedy,
including,but notlimitedto,incidental orconsequentialdamageor lossofwhatsoever
natureshall beavailabletothe purchaser.
Thisis inadditiontoand doesnotinany wayaffectanystatutory orotherrightsof consumer
purchasers.This guaranteeappliesincountries shownonthisdocument attheauthorized
servicecentres detailedforthatcountry.
