Phone lock: Set password protection
for your phone. You are required
to enter the password each time
you turn on the phone (1122 by
default).
Safeguard: Set password protection
for the information stored on your
phone.
• Safeguard: Enter your password
to turn the password protection
on or off (1122 by default).
• Activation: Enter your password
to select the information that
accepts the password protection:
msg(s), Contacts, View calls or/and
Speed dial.
• Change safeguard password:
Change your password as
desired.
Speed dial Call a contact by long pressing a
numeric key (See "Speed dial" on
page 14).
Shortcut Set the quick access menu on the
idle screen (See "Shortcut menu"
on page 2).
Default
storage
Select the default storage location
for your files: phone or memory
card (if a memory card is inserted
on your phone).
Memory
status
Check the memory occpancy of
Contacts, Messaging and My files:
on phone and SIM card, or on
phone and memory card (if a
memory card is inserted on your
phone).
Active slide Select whether to answer an
incoming call by pushing up the
slide. Tap to select On or Off.

lock
Select whether to lock the keypad
by pulling down the slide. Tap to
select On or Off.
Auto keypad
lock
Set an idle time span for the keypad
to be locked automatically.
To unlock the keypad, push up the
slide, or drag out the innermost
dot.
