Turning the Message Reminder Tones Off/On
If your cellular carrier offers a special messaging service, and
you subscribe to that service, your phone is preset to beep
every 2 minutes until you read all new messages, but you can
turn off the tones.
Note
: If you do not subscribe to a messaging service, the re-
minder tone function has no effect on your phone.
Follow these steps to turn the message reminder tones off or
on.
1. Press

2. Repeatedly press or until
Remind
Msg
On
or
Off
flashes.
3. Press so
Off
appears or so
On
appears.
4. To exit the functions menu, press .
