3. To insert the battery, insert the battery into the opening on the back of the
phone at an angle (1), making sure the metal contacts on the battery connect
with the matching connectors in the phone. Press down until the battery
snaps into place (2).
4. Replace the cover plate by lining up the tabs and then firmly sliding the
cover in the direction of the arrow (2) until it snaps into place.
Charging the Battery
Your phone’s Li-ion battery is rechargeable and should be charged as soon as
possible so you can begin using your phone.
Keeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If your battery level becomes
too low, your phone automatically turns off and you lose all of the information you
were working on. For a quick check of your phone’s battery level, glance at the
battery charge indicator located in the upper-right corner of either of your phone’s
