Security for a connection between a WAP gateway and a service provider is the
responsibility of the service provider.
To turn on a secure connection (WAP)
1. } Connectivity } Internet settings } Internet profiles.
2. Highlight a profile, } More } Settings.
3. Turn on security.
Trusted certificates
To establish a secure connection when using certain Internet services, for example,
banking or shopping, you need certificates in your phone.
Trusted certificates are used to verify the WAP gateway that you are trying to connect
to. Your phone may already contain trusted certificates when you buy it or you may
be able to download them.
To check the certificates in your phone
1. } Connectivity } Internet settings } Security.
2. Select Trusted cert.
