Charging Your Battery
Your phone is packaged with a Lithium Ion (LiIon)
battery. The battery is not charged when you buy your
phone, but there may be enough power to switch the
phone on.
First Time Battery Use
Fully charge the battery before you use your phone for
the first time. Your battery can be charged whenever you
want without affecting its performance. You can also
charge the battery when the phone is off.
The battery meter icon ( ) on your standby screen
indicates how much remaining strength your battery has.

* It may take up to 30 minutes for a new or fully
discharged battery to indicate charging. It takes about
12 hours to fully charge a battery for the first time. For
optimal performance, do not allow your battery to
completely discharge.
Note!
The total remaining talk time depends on the
type of battery you use and your position in the
network.
Note!
The phone turns itself off when the battery can
no longer power it satisfactorily.
