2 Enter the recipient’s number or press ,

Select, highlight the group that you want to send the
message to, Select.
3 Enter your message and press OK.
4 Press OK to send the message.
Sending msg appears
in the display followed by
Message has been sent.
Sending Messages to Groups
You can send an SMS message to a Group.
1 Scroll to
Messages, Select, SMS, Select, Send New,
Select.
2 When you are prompted for the phone number, press
,
Groups, Select, highlight the group that you want
to send the message to, Select. For information about
setting up Groups, see “Groups” on page 52.
Saving the Message for Later Use
Press the right softkey after you have entered your
message. The message is saved in the
Unsent menu.
Sending a Message Later
1 Scroll to
Messages, Select, SMS, Select, Unsent
Mail
, Select.
2 Select the message you want to send and press OK.
3 Press Select again.
4 Select
Send and press Select. You may now edit your
message.
5 Press OK and send the message as previously
described.
6 Enter the recipient’s number or tilt the joystick to the
left to retrieve the number from the phonebook.
7 Press OK to send the message.
Templates
If you have one or more standard messages that you often
use, you can save these as templates in your phone. You
can save up to ten templates consisting of up to
50 characters each.
Creating a Template
1 Scroll to
Messages, Select, SMS, Select, Templates,
Select,
Add New, ADD.
2 Enter the message and press OK.
Note!
If the recipient’s phone does not support long
messages, the messages are received one at a
time.
