6. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the Add
Printer wizard. If you are required to install the printer driver,
see “Installing the printer driver” on page 179.
Adding a printer from the Printers folder
Follow the steps below to add a printer from the Printers folder.
1. Windows Me: Double-click the My Network Places icon.
Windows 98/95: Double-click the Network Neighborhood
icon.
2. Right-click the Epson_lpr icon and select Properties. The
Epson_lpr Properties dialog box appears.
3. Select Local Segment to search a printer in the same
segment, or select Specific Network Segment and enter the
IP address and subnet mask of the printer to find a printer
located beyond the router. Click OK.
4. Click Start, point to Settings, and then select Printers.
Double-click Add Printer in the Printers folder to start the
Add Printer Wizard.
5. Select Network printer, then click Next.
6. Click Browse and then double-click Epson_lpr.
