Install driver during Windows 2000 installation
1. Go to “d:\raid\m5281\floppy \” directory, (assuming that
your CD-ROM is drive d) copy all the files and directory
to a floppy disk.
2. Windows 2000 will start to inspect your hardware
configuration
3. Press “F6” when the message “Press F6 if you need to install a
third party SCSI or RAID driver….” Appear.
4. Press S key to specify additional devices when the Windows
2000 Setup window appears.
5. Insert the floppy disk of driver, then press Enter to continue
6. In the follow-on window of device type, please select “M5281
SATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)” to continue
7. The follow-on interface will list the devices to be installed, in
which “M5281 SATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)” item
should be included.
8. Press S key to specify additional devices
9. In the follow-on window of device type, please select “M5228
ATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)” to continue
10. The follow-on interface will list the devices to be installed, in
which “M5228 SATA RAID Controller (Win 2000)” item
should be included. (If users want to install other devices,
press “S” at this time.) Press ENTER to continue Windows
2000 setup
