Access Point Names—displays
connected data service access
points.
Internet Sharing—shares the
device’s data connection with the
computer. Requires USB cable
connection.
Phone Settings
From the application tray, touch
Settings > Phone.
Call Forwarding—see page 21.
Call Barring—see page 21.
Call Waiting—see page 18.
Send My Caller ID—sets a
preference for sending caller ID
information when you make phone
calls.
Voice Mail Number—sets the
number to access voice mail,
usually the same as your phone
number.
TTY—enables TTY
(teletypewriter) mode. This requires
the use of a TTY adapter (part
number 010-11371-04), available at
www.garminasus.com/a50
/tty_adapter.
Hearing Aid Mode—optimizes the
phone speaker for use with hearing
aids.
Fixed Dialing Numbers—enables
you to set up your device so that
it can only dial certain phone
numbers (page 101).
Network Operators—searches for
local networks.
Enabling and Adding Fixed
Dialing Numbers
To change Fixed Dialing Numbers
(FDN) settings, you must acquire the
FDN PIN for your SIM card from your
service provider.
