to our partner networks and downloads
the most recent location of your
friends. This application only submits
your location when you tell it to, unless
you enable automatic updates.
This service is not available in all
areas. A data connection is required for
this feature. Your regular data usage
charges apply.

Registering Your Device
and Joining Ciao!
To use Ciao!, you must follow these
steps:
1. Create a myGamin Account and log
in (page 59).
2. Register your device with
myGarmin (page 59).
3. Complete the Ciao! registration
(page 60).
4. Set up Ciao! (page 60).
Creating a myGarmin Account
and Registering Your Device
1. From the application tray, touch
Ciao! > OK.
2. Touch Create New Account.
NOTE: If you already have a
myGarmin account, sign in and
register your device.
3. Read the Terms of Use and the
Privacy Statement.
4. Touch Accept All.
5. Enter a user name, a password, and
re-enter the password.
6. Touch Next.
7. Enter the necessary information.
