Reset settings
This option is used to reset your phone to the factory

Password lock
This option is used to enable or disable the "Phone
lock" and "PIN lock".
1 Select Security > Password lock.
2 Select one item from Phone lock and PIN lock.
3 Press the up/down scroll key to select On or Off.
• Phone lock: Enter the phone password.
• PIN lock: If the desired status is the same as
the current status, just press OK key. Con

versely, you need to select the desired status
and then enter the PIN code.
Change password
You can modify the phone password and PIN code.
1 Select Security > Change password.
2 Select one item from Phone password, PIN
code, and PIN2 code.
3 Enter the old password (The initial phone pass-
word of the Vodafone 830 is 0000).
