To type a message, use your keypad to enter your
message. Use the right softkey to select a character
input mode. (See “Entering Text” on page 38.)

To use a preset message or a smiley, press the right
softkey, select PresetMessages or Smileys, highlight
your desired message or emoticon, and press .
3. Press Next(left softkey) when you are finished
composing your message.
4. Press Send (left softkey ) to send the message.
Using Preset Messages
Preset messages make sending text messages to your
friends, family, and coworkers easier than ever.
To add or editpreset messages:
1. SelectMenu > Settings > Messaging > PresetMessages >
Add New.

Highlight a message you wish to edit and press ,
selectEdit or SendMessageor Deleteor Deleteall.
2. Enter your new message or changes and press .
