Power Save Mode
When the phone is in an area without service for
about 15 minutes, it stops searching for service and
enters into Power Save Mode. When your phone
activates this feature,
Power Save is displayed on
the screen. The phone automatically checks for
service periodically or you can check manually by
pressing any key.
Signal Strength
The call quality depends on the signal strength in
your area. The current signal strength is displayed on
the screen as the number of bars next to the signal
strength icon: The more bars, the better the signal
strength. If the signal quality is poor, move to an
open area. If you are in a building, the reception may
be better near a window. For maximum reception,
make sure that the antenna is fully extended.
