The text above the Navi Key varies according to the displayed main
menu, submenu or setting.
In some functions, you may be asked for a security code, PIN code or
PIN2 code. Key in the required code and press
(OK).
Accessing a Menu Function by Its
Shortcut
Most menu items (menus, submenus and setting) are numbered and can
be accessed by their shortcut number. This index number is shown in the
upper right corner of the display.
To change a menu setting by its shortcut:
1 Press (Menu).
2 Within 3 seconds, key in the number of the menu function that you
want to access.
3 Within 3 seconds, key in the number of the desired setting.
For example: To select the ringing volume level Low (Ringing Volume op-
tion 2 in Tone Settings menu), press (Menu), then (for Tone Set-
tings), (for Ringing Volume) and (for ringing level Low).
Help Texts
Most menu functions are provided with a help text which gives a brief de-
scription of the displayed function.
To view a help text, move to the title screen of the desired menu or sub-
menu and wait for 10 seconds. The help text appears and scrolls automat-
ically.
Tip: You can always exit the menu by pressing and holding without
changing the menu settings.
